El-Magraby Eye Hospital consists of a ground floor & three other floors containing integrated eye medical service. Design flexibility was taken into consideration to permit present & future demands secarating services of indirect relation & producing easy horizontal & vertical connections between the design units of direct ones. The ground floor contains general & specialized examination units. The first floor contains administration, X-ray & labs, while the second floor contains patient rooms, doctors & nursing rooms with relevant services. The third floor contains operation rooms with relevant services. Accordingly, the design provided privacy necessary for patient rooms & operations away from exems rooms & administration, also it allows easy movement of patients in subsequent steps from exam to labs & X-ray or between patient rooms & operation theaters. Movement of public between all these units, in a distribution that provides quietness to patients & easy function to doctors.
